Forms & Client Information
Before you visit
§ Scheduling
All services are by appointment only. We do not accommodate walk in appointments but we gladly accept same day appointments. Services can be booked online or a phone call can be made to schedule reservations. Reservations require a first and last name, a phone number where the person can be reached, the type of service and duration, and a credit card to hold the appointment. Your credit card will not be charge unless you do not satisfy the cancellation and no-show policy.
§ Arrival
It is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes before your session to allow enough time to check in, fill out our intake form and discuss any preferences and concerns with your therapist. Tea service is provided and we welcome our guests to come in and take a moment to ground their-selves before they have their treatment. You may choose to fill out our intake form prior to your appointment.

§ Cancellations
We understand that unanticipated things may happen from time to time. We believe that time is valuable and in order to be fair to our therapists and our other clients, the following policies have been created:
> 24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. You may contact us by phone, email, text or through our website. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged a cancellation/rescheduling fee of $45.00 up until a half hour before your session.
>No-shows Anyone who chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a no-show. They will be charged in full for their missed appointment. Those who cancel a half an hour before their session will also incur a no show charge. This is not to punish but it is there to make sure that our therapists continue to get compensated for their scheduled hours.
>Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the full session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
§ Payment
We accept Cash, MasterCard, Visa and Discover and American Express. We also accept SPA Finder Gift cards as well as FSA Credit Cards. Please note, gratuities are not included in the price of your treatment.
§ Conduct
We provide a safe, professional, trustworthy environment and licensed therapeutic bodywork treatments for our clients. Any sexual remarks, misconduct or advances towards our therapists will immediately terminate the session and no reimbursements will be offered. We encourage you to look at our What to expect during a massage section for details on your bodywork treatment.
What to expect during a Massage
§ Are appointments required?
Yes. Appointments are required to receive a massage or bodywork treatment. Please call us at 818-277-6723 or schedule an appointment online.
§ What is the age policy?
Guests must be 18 years of age or older to receive a massage. If guests are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must accompany that guest in the massage room and sit through the full session.
§ What should I expect on my first massage visit?
Your Therapist will require you to fill out a health history form. After reviewing your intake form, your therapist will begin by asking you general questions to establish what areas of your body you would like your therapist to focus on and if there are any areas you want your therapist to avoid working on. Also your therapist may perform certain assessments and tests to evaluate your condition and to determine the best course of action.
§ What do I wear during my massage?
It completely depends on your comfort level. Most clients who choose to have a full body massage usually undress completely or choose to have only their bottom undergarments on. You may choose to undress to your own comfort level. Your therapist will give you complete privacy as you undress. During your massage, you will be modestly draped at all times. If at any time you feel uncomfortable, please let your therapist know.
§ What do I do during my massage session?
Make yourself as comfortable as possible. If your therapist wants to adjust you while you are on the table, the therapist will move you or ask you to help them move you into the correct position. Otherwise change your position any time to make yourself more comfortable. The massage session is a partnership between therapist and client and at times you and the therapist may have to communicate during the massage. Many people close their eyes and relax completely , others prefer to talk during the massage session. It is your massage and whatever feels natural to you is the best way to relax. Do not hesitate to ask questions at any time.
§ What are the benefits of massage?
Massage therapy has been proven effective in: relieving back pain, boosting the immune system, reducing anxiety, lowering blood pressure, treating migraines, decreasing carpal tunnel symptoms, easing post- operative pain and alleviating side effects of cancer. Getting a massage can do you a world of good. And getting massage frequently can do even more. This is the beauty of bodywork. Taking part in this form of regularly scheduled self-care can play a huge part in how healthy you’ll be and how youthful you’ll remain with each passing year. Budgeting time and money for bodywork at consistent intervals is truly an investment in your health. And remember: just because massage feels like a pampering treat doesn’t mean it is any less therapeutic. Consider massage appointments a necessary piece of your health and wellness plan, and work with your practitioner to establish a treatment schedule that best meets your needs.
